Sometimes you have to take a moment for yourself—and just breathe.

It can be harder than it sounds in our busy lives. Let’s face it, we’re always running. Between work and family, we often don’t make time for ourselves. The problem is when we don’t stop, even for a short time each day; we start to drown little by little. It’s important we take time to reflect on the beauty that surrounds us and be grateful.

Today’s blog is a reminder to find that inner peace for yourself. Instead of focusing on all the commotion, reflect inward. Feel the beat of your heart. Listen to the sound of your own breath as it comes and goes. Now exhale and let go of all your worries. Travel back to an image of something that makes you smile. Perhaps a person who brings you joy. An interaction you may have had. A memory…

Hold onto that thought throughout your day. May it ease your troubles, make your day go by a little easier, and bring you joy.
